What Is Digital Transfer Printing?

Digital transfer printing is a process in which image files are printed directly from a digital file onto transfer sheets using special inks and a high-resolution professional printer. This allows for photorealistic, high-resolution, and highly detailed designs with a wide range of colors and gradients. The prints are then permanently transferred and fixed onto textiles using a heat press.

Advantages of Digital Transfer Printing

Digital transfer printing offers advantages such as efficient production of small batches and single items (print-on-demand) due to the elimination of prepress stages (screens), high detail accuracy and color brilliance, design flexibility (including photorealistic prints), lower costs for small runs, and improved environmental friendliness through reduced water and energy consumption as well as less waste.
The excellent color fidelity and wash durability of textiles printed using this method leave nothing to be desired compared to other textile printing processes. The method is also ideally suited for the personal customization of all types of textiles.
