Screen Transfer Printing
What Is Screen Transfer Printing?
Screen transfer printing is a textile finishing process in which designs are screen-printed onto special paper (transfer sheets). An adhesive (powder glue) is then applied, and the sheet is transferred onto the textile using a heat press.
Screen transfer printing combines the advantages of high-quality screen printing (color saturation, durability) with the flexibility of transfer printing and is well suited for detailed designs and challenging materials such as polyester and nylon.
Advantages of Screen Transfer Printing
Screen transfer printing offers benefits such as high quality and durability (sharp contours, brilliant colors, wash resistance), flexibility (designs can be printed on difficult materials), precise color control (special colors / Pantone), suitability for fine details and large production runs, a soft, non-intrusive feel, and the option for special effects (reflective, metallic).
It is particularly well suited for repeat orders and hard-to-print textile products such as bags and jerseys.
